Serenity is a home operating system — a single desktop app that replaces the pile of subscriptions families use to stay organized. It ships with 30 modules that you toggle on or off depending on what your household actually needs. Use three of them or all thirty. Your home, your setup. The core modules: Personal Checklist — Your private to-do list with 13 satisfying completion animations (confetti, butterflies, puppies, and more). Nobody else sees this one. Brain Dump — A shared task list that parses plain English into tasks. Type "pick up dog food and call the dentist Tuesday" and it just works. Syncs in real time between everyone in your household. Calendar — Shared family calendar with color-coded events per person, recurring event support, and quick-add. Everyone sees the same calendar. Meal Planner — Drag recipes onto a weekly grid for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Integrates with the recipe book. Recipes — Shared recipe collection with ingredients, notes, and tags. Includes a "What's for dinner?" random picker and grocery list generation. Chore Board — Recurring household chores with rotation and streaks. Assign, track, repeat. Shopping Lists — Multiple shared lists with check-off. One for groceries, one for hardware store, one for whatever. The modules you didn't know you needed: The Jar — A shared pool of things to do together someday. Date night ideas, weekend trips, projects. Pull one out when you're stuck. Decision Log — Searchable log of joint decisions with reasoning. "Why did we pick that preschool?" is now answerable. House Manual — A shared knowledge base organized by room. Where's the water shutoff? What paint color is the bedroom? It's in the manual. Gratitude Drop — Async appreciation notes between household members. Memory Bank — Shared micro-journal. A timeline of moments together. Family Constitution — Shared household values, rules, and agreements. What your family stands for, written down. Cool Things — Shared feed for videos, links, and images. "You have to see this" without texting a link that gets buried. Practical tools: Budget Snapshot — Simple monthly spending tracker by category. Habit Tracker — Personal daily habits with streaks and heatmap. Baby Tracker — Feeding, diaper, sleep, and milestone logging. Calorie Log — Simple daily food diary with calorie tracking. Address Book — Shared contacts and important places. Birthdays & Anniversaries — Track important dates with countdowns. Notes — Shared plain-text documents. Daily Focus — Sticky note overlay for today's priorities. Daily Inspiration — Daily quotes or scripture in the header. Display and sync: Display Mode — Ambient always-on dashboard for a spare screen, laptop, or tablet. This is the $200 Skylight calendar without the Skylight. Weather — Current conditions and 5-day forecast in the header. Calendar Sync — Import external calendars via ICS feed URLs. Email to Event — Paste email text and it creates a calendar event. Notifications — Reminders for events, chores, birthdays, and more. Family Profiles — Custom colors and emoji avatars for every household member. Family Modules — See what modules your family members have turned on and add them to your own setup. How sync works: Everyone enters the same room code. That's it. No accounts, no cloud subscriptions, no servers. Serenity syncs peer-to-peer through Gun.js. Two people, five people, the whole household — anyone with the room code is connected. What this replaces: A household using even half of these modules is likely paying for some combination of Todoist ($60/yr), Cozi ($30/yr), a meal planning app ($50/yr), a chore app ($60/yr), a budget tracker ($100/yr), a baby tracker ($70/yr), a habit app ($50/yr), and possibly a Skylight display ($180 + $40/yr). That's $400–$600/yr in subscriptions and hardware. Serenity is $9. Once. Mac only. One-time purchase. Yours forever. PS... This is an early version. If you find something you'd like improved, please reach out! I'll update immediately.
One-time purchase. Download directly. Yours forever.
